Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. — 4 months ago
Rose pedals, tart tomatoes, red licorice, juniper, rosemary, strawberry, cranberry, clean, focused, and elegant. On the herbal side. Highly tannic but the tannins are already so fine. — 4 months ago

Beautiful and light with just a super light tannin finish. Another great bottle barn find. — a month ago
Crisp; hits the back of your throat. A bit calmer than a Pinot Grigio. All in all, would be getting again. — 2 months ago
The color is a clear garnet with a cleans medium smell of sweet red fruits, mostly strawberry. It has a medium sweetness, acidity, and alcohol level that is balanced by full body, intensity and finish. Tastes mostly or cherry and was very enjoyable. — 3 months ago
Wine is bright red, on nose its red fruits, earthy, oak, dry tobacco, floral. On palate, wine is plum, berries, oakiness. Acidity is medium plus, tannic, its shows strong charachter or nebbiolo and merlot. Firm and elegant structure. Enjoy 2029+. Cheers! — 4 months ago

“Ana’s-Cëtta” is the white #Nascetta wine by @elviocogno who helped bring the variety back from near extinction in the 1990s in the commune of Novello, #Langhe, #Piedmont.
The 2022 delivers aromas of honeysuckle, white peach, verbena and Mediterranean herbs. Apple, pear, quince and pineapple flavors then come into play. This quickly followed by a waxy texture, balanced by lime zest, with notions of crushed minerals on the finish.
The winery suggests it is “ideal as an accompaniment to vegetable dishes, white meats, raw fish, oysters and creamy cheeses.” Maybe not as ideal, but paired with rigatoni, sausage and fennel allowed some contrast to expose and heighten many of the sensations…BRAVO! — 4 months ago

This is the G.D. Vajra Rosa Bella (2023). It was made from mostly Nebbiolo grapes and, to a lesser extent, Dolcetto and Barera.
It has a beautiful combination of freshness and vivacity with bright red-berried, hibiscus, watermelon rind, and oyster shell characteristics. It’s crisp and delicious with medium alcohol (13.5% ABV) and bright acidity.
The winemaker’s tasting notes refer to a “sapidity” in this wine, which is defined as “a pleasant flavor,” but I have now learned that in winespeak this means a pleasing saline, mineral, and savory quality, which is absolutely evident in this glass. — a month ago
