Rosé Réserve Brut Champagne Blend

NV. Occupies a sweet spot by having less body than most and better acidity than many for what passes as affordability in Brut Rosé these days. 05.07.25. — a day ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1974

From mag. Plum and dried herbs. Iron and leather. Still quite fresh and complex. The best of this wine I’ve had by some distance — a day ago

Millésimé Brut Champagne Blend 2012

#AgedWineTuesday

Light yellow in color.

Strong nose of apples, yeast, spices, bread, minerals and sea salt.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, and medium plus sized bubbles.

Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, yeast, vegetables, spices and bitter herbs.

Nice finish with limes and almonds.

This 13 year old Vintage Champagne feels young and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly.

Rich and extracted with lots of bread notes. Elegant and robust.

Showing nice complexity, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Paired beautifully with fresh oysters.

A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Disgorged in 2020.

12% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$120.

Rare Millésimé Brut Champagne 2006

The 2006 is in a great place right now. Balanced with some elements of a second maturation phase. Toasted almonds and brioche - very pleasant treat on this hot spring weekend. — 20 days ago

T'n'S Blocks Hudson Vineyard South Syrah

At 10-years, a beautiful experience…deep, dark pour with no signs of bricking…dark fruit (more purple and black) aromatics that just keep on developing…palate mirrors aromatics with strong fruit profile…pleasing texture/mouth feel…medium finish…hard to say how much longer one should hold…tonight, it was in the right place for our dinner — 6 days ago
