Eola Amity Hills, Willamette Valley

Domaine Drouhin

RoseRock Pinot Noir 2019

Plenty of red fruit. Subtle hints of smoke and leather. Medium bodied, but a lot going on. Love Oregon Pinots!

Estate Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2018

Good fruit, good spice, doing well but I don’t think much improvement left…very good and have 10 bottles left… but I will think we will drink quicker than normal! — 11 days ago

Sisters Eola Amity Hills Chardonnay 2018

Nice toasted oak and vanilla notes, somewhat reminiscent of a Sauternes. This wine would easily pass for a French Chardonnay. — 12 days ago

Seven Springs Vineyard Chardonnay 2018

Had the vintage and rating wrong on this one. Excellent wine, but duh it’s fruit from Seven Springs Vineyard. I’ve been grabbing Failla when I see it and haven’t ever been let down. — 25 days ago

I used to drink a bunch of failla wines from my buddy’s wholesale book. Always solid. Even better at his price.

Salem Wine Company

Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay 2018

From Wine Society Oregon case. Origin Salem, Oregon.
Aromas : Electric, lemon, stones. In the mouth it really opens up with creamy, biscuit flavours. Great length, a nice touch of peach stone bitterness and acidity.

Ken Wright Cellars

Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2019

Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and black cherry fruit, with notes of currants, spice, mushroom and earthy oak notes. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice. — a month ago
