Eola Amity Hills, Willamette Valley

Jessie James Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022

Outrageous! Even in the flood of thanksgiving wines, this stood head and shoulders above the din. Selfishly, I’m glad only 3-4 of us were partakers. By far, one of , if not the very best U.S. Pinot Noir in my experience. Wonderful nose and balance in all things.
We shall have to wait for a non-holiday quaff for greater exposition.
Thanks @FassSelections

Authentique Eola-Amity-Hills Pinot Noir 2015

Leave out two hours before drinking. Nice Pinot Noir with classic cherry flavor and smooth finish. Well-made and an extraordinary value at $26. — a month ago

Summum Seven Springs Vineyard Chardonnay 2013

A superb Chardonnay! Aromas of Anise and Honeysuckle. Apple and Honey on the bud. Crisp and smooth with a long finish. Great with our Salmon tonight. Need to order more from Evening Springs as we were extremely impressed with their wines when we visited earlier this year. — 3 days ago

Estate Eola - Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2022

An absolute stellar example of Willamette terroir and a steal at <$30. This wine has evident and precise cherry fruit, bright acidity and great balance. I’d love to try this bottle in a few years as the acidity suggests aging potential, but it’s drinking great right now. — 2 months ago

Jessie Vineyard Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2014

We had this and Louise for an in house vertical. Both had a great mouthfeel. Both had black cherry, black raspberry and a cherry liqueur feel. Jessie was just a little lighter in flavor. Both were better now than when I had them 6 years ago. Medium bodied, fruit forward. — 25 days ago

Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023

A solid producer year after year! Very juicy and light. Some whole cluster. Very likable and unoffensive. Touch bitter. Orange zest, more red fruit than dark. Cherry/Hint blackberry. Touch oregano. Lime. Crushed marble. Covers the back palate nicely. Lots going on here. I consider this a drink now wine 36 bucks and 13.5%. There are just a handful of Pinots which win me over at this price point. And this one is in the Burgh killer zone. If you like Pinot this is a winner @ San Diego Wine Co. — 2 months ago
