Tart cherry with smoke and leather notes. Opens up nicely. Paired with strip steaks. — 2 months ago
Blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Medium ruby/garnet color with a slight brick colored rim. Aromas and flavors of dried cherries, currants, boysenberries and blueberries with notes of orange zest, graphite and violets. Pleasant long finish. Soft tannins and creamy/velvety texture. Extremely well balanced. Silky tannins. Aging gracefully. — 8 days ago
I would not have dared to drink this so young — but it was delicious, fresh & complex, — a month ago

2022 vintage from Costco. Solid Garnacha-style everyday red — 6 days ago
Blend of Grenache (65%), Mourvèdre (15%), Syrah (15%) and Cinsault (5%). Light Ruby color. Lovely aromas of raspberry, cherry, black tea, lavender, forest floor and rose petals. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, red plums, blackberry, mushroom and Asian spices. Intriguing note of minerality on the long and lingering finish. Perfect level of acidity and so beautifully balanced. Wonderful complexity and length. Rich, bright and fresh tasting. Stunner! — a month ago
Over three years since I opened up the first bottle. Still young-ish but much easier to drink after a quick decant of half an hour. All the typical scents and taste of C9DP. Very balanced. Clearly from a warm climate but retaining ample freshness. Like it a lot. Hope I can keep my hands off it in the coming years to check in on the remaining bottles every couple of years — 3 months ago

Interestingly, this was the best-conditioned white of the night. Of course it had to be one I’m not particularly fond of, but I’m still very thankful that there wasn’t even a hint of discernible [premature] oxidation. The nose hits you with a melange of fruits ranging from pineapples to mangoes to peaches and candied orange peels, followed by notes of cream, honey, and some woody, floral nuances. On the palate, it was expectedly rich and rounded, yet still maintained some juicy energy. Finished lightly bitter with a herbaceous touch. An archetypal CDP blanc! Would be better with the right food. — 8 days ago
