Brut Rosé Champagne 2010

Gentle strawberry and light lime stone. Delicate and pretty. A touch in distinct on the midpalate. Young, so may be early to judge — 9 hours ago

Brilliant. This is Strawberry Fields Forever played in bubbles with a hint florals and lemon zest. The P2 rosés are rare and always a good find. — a year ago

2000 and 2000 P2 side by side. Ones cork aged post disgorgement, the P2 aged on the lees and was disgorged like 3-4 years ago i think — 10 days ago

Du Cropio (Giuseppe Ippolito)

Dom Giuvà Du Cropio Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Gaglioppo 2013

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2013 pours a deep garnet with an opaque core and a rusty brown rim; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and significant sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with desiccated dark fruit, salmiakki, leather, espresso, and a Maillard reaction thing. On the palate, the wine is dry it’s high tannin and medium acid at best…probably medium-. The finish is medium. Drink now. — 7 months ago

Rafael Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend 2020

Clear, medium ruby to garnet in color; on the nose it's, clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, almond, and cloves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherry, ripe strawberry, tar, and black tea with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — 8 months ago
