Seriously good Chianti. Black cherry, candied orange, tobacco leaf, nice acid and full body. Maybe even too good for pizza…but good with pizza — 18 days ago
Very good, as always (my third vintage). A cherry, strawberry, leather, vanilla and smoke maybe. High, pleasant acidity. Tannins on their way to smoothness. — a month ago
This up-front, fleshy Chianti is drinking really nicely right now. Pretty extroverted nose shows dark, macerated cherry, iodiney minerality, and a little loamy soil. In the mouth it’s pretty full, with a big whack of fruit initially, some tertiary notes developing and becoming apparent in the back half of the palate. Decent acids and still some soft tannin providing some scaffolding. I’d like a bit more linearity and persistence in the finish but for a ‘18 it’s darn nice. — 25 days ago
I’m a fan of this Chianti Classico. 5-yr old showing well and a smooth finish. Probably could even improve with more years in the bottle. — 20 days ago

A nice lighter cherry that is dry but with appropriate fruit. Great with pasta and red sauce. October 2025. — 5 days ago
Really enjoyed this with spaghetti bolognese — 5 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with aromas of red and black fruits, floral and smoky oak, mostly Sangiovese with small amounts of Canaiolo, Colorino, and Malvasia Nera, from Rufina subzone. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum flavors with garden herb notes, cacao and tobacco notes. Fine rustic tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and an earthy smoky spice character. Nice! — 8 days ago
