I have never been disappointed by a Cru Beaujolais, though I admit the first day this #brouilly was closed and a touch unbalanced on the tart side. Wine fridge +1 day and it’s expressed itself pleasantly. Cooked raspberry, lighter cherry nose, lovely acid-forward balance with more pronounced fruit on the second day, understated mineral notes. Good decision to buy 3 bottles at less than $20 each @ #costcowines — a year ago
Give this one some time to open up. Wild cherry + dried cherries, touch of dried herbs on the nose. Medium plus body, juicy acidity and grippy tannins cruising out on a long finish. Lovely #chianticlassico #granselezione for under $20. #costcowines — a year ago
You’ll definitely want to decant this wine. Well over an hour after opening in the glass the initial dusty #bordeaux muted fruit wakes up fully, very youthful bramble fruit, purple jam on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity and generally soft tannins from the Merlot dominant blend with some more assertive tannins on the finish. 68% #merlot, 17% #cabernetsauvignon, 13% #petitverdot, 2% #cabernetfranc - clearly I got the impression this wine could easily cruise for another 5 years in the bottle. Excellent #costcowines value. — 2 years ago
The sub-$50 #champagne market has so many great choices. Lovely balance of sharp acidity and ripe fruit, the dosage is well integrated here. #costcowines — 2 years ago
Excellent high-QPR SV #napa #cabernetsauvignon. It leans “Old Worldish” but still has plenty of big fruit up front, nicely balanced, some coffee and subtle earthy undertones -and velvety tannins to close out. Call this the “Anti-Caymus” 💣 #costcowines — 2 years ago
Lighter-style #bordeaux, youthful yet subtle black/purple fruit nose, medium body, chewy persistent tannins trailing each sip. Commendable QPR #costcowines. — 6 months ago
Balanced, pretty #stemiliongrandcru #bordeaux blend. Not as earthy as other St. Em blends this one is a bit more fruit forward, once it opens up. Excellent QPR #costcowines — 9 months ago
Delicious #prosecco that’s a solid cut above typical mass market and grocery store brands. Distinctive tart cherry nose that carries through the taste. #costcowines — a year ago
A bit shy black and purple fruit aromas on this #riberadelduero. Medium plus body on palate; prominent acidity up front on palate, chewier tannins on the finish but with that tartness just so food friendly for ~$13, excellent QPR. #costcowines — 2 years ago
Gratifying #vacqueyras - This is not your syrupy big extract Southern Rhône wine. Medium plus body, Mediterranean herbs and red/black fruit, tea and succulent acidity on the palate. Excellent value #costcowines

~$10 #costcowines #bordeaux Blend. This is one of those that is very pedestrian after opening. Give it a day or more in the wine fridge and it transforms into a strong QPR BDX - purple, black fruit comes alive backed by leather, earthy notes on nose. Tannins ease up on the palate and with that lovely balance becomes so quaffable. — 2 years ago
Super quaffable #pinotgris - apple, white peach aromas, weighty palate with lots of acidity, green apple, peach, goes down too easy. Great QPR for under $8 #costcowines — 2 years ago
The wine pours a beautiful dark brick red. It has flavors of dried cranberries, boysenberries and maybe a kind of roasted meat finish. For the price of $15 at Costco it is very good. I’ll be buying it again. I don’t have much experience with Tuscan wines. This is a good starting point. #costcowines #tuscany #montepulcino #redwine — 8 months ago
For the price a quite good #chianticlassicoriserva. Reticent bramble fruit on the nose. Palate features typical #sangiovese slightly spicy-earthy dark cherry, traces of cola and spice trailing off on the finish, nicely integrated at 5 years. Great QPR for under $20 - #costcowines — 10 months ago
Nice value #chinon - more modern, not as rustic and funky, muted dark fruit, less bell pepper notes (which I happen to love from #cabernetfranc) so a wider appeal style here with balance and weight on the tongue. #costcowines — a year ago
Good entry level #champagne , fresher, bright and crisp style though for ~$30 price point not any better than Kirkland Signature’s real champagne at $20. #costcowines — 2 years ago
I’m always interested to discover new #costcowines. For the price a really nice wine especially if you enjoy the bigger Napa style yet with some Old World sensibilities. Black and purple berry jammy nose, touch of vanilla and spices from new oak. On the palate the 15% ABV does show through - this is a hot wine without a lot of acidity to offset the fruit and booze; no tannins really on the finish. — 2 years ago
Full disclosure, I picked up this bottle at Costco for a great price without looking too closely at the vintage. Turned out to be a nice score on quality aged #carneros #chardonnay. Apple juice color in the glass so it has aged/oxidized quite a bit. It’s a bit reticent on the nose but as it warmed the wine presents baked apple, caramel and nutty notes. Still juicy acidity up front on the palate, bruised and baked apple notes galore and some nice warming spice on the finish. Paired fairly well with some Asian stir fried vegetables and Thai curry. #costcowines — 2 years ago
Dazzling value from #costcowines. Letting this one warm up quite a bit will reward you with a beautiful nose: apricot, persimmon, touch of lemon, faint lemongrass. Lovely palate balance, touch of zippy spice on the end. Ludicrous value at $16 these days for #sancerre — 2 years ago

This wine pours a somewhat clear ruby red. It has a nice nose. The fruit is restrained. And after it’s been open for a little bit, the tannins really come through. This is an excellent wine that I got at Costco for $48. I would definitely re-buy it. It went well, although not a perfect match with the seafood linguine I had for my birthday at Mange Bene restaurant. #barolowine #italianwines #piedmontwines #nebbioli #costcowines — 3 months ago
