So balanced, so complex, fruit, leather, spice. Everything you want in Chianti. The rating on delectable is shocking for price. — 8 days ago
Medium body, delicate, but pleasant nose. Smooth with a palate of black cherry. Pairs well with a variety of foods, but excels with pasta. Drank in August 2025 — 16 days ago
A World Class single vineyard Sangiovese from the elevated Chianti appellation east of Florence and Chianti Classico.
With a gorgeous, deep garnet appearance, teasing tertiary aromatics and flavors, the earthy 2009 is medium/full, deep, robust, still solidly structured and balanced with ample acidity and light, dusty tannins. — a month ago
I like the graphics. It looks like the wallpaper in an Italian restaurant in Philadelphia in 1965. The wine is great, too. I'm sneaking a sip while I cook, and hoping there will be a sip left when I'm done cooking. You ever do that?
I won't break down the flavor profile; it just tastes like solid Sangiovese.

Dried red cherry fruit, really fine acidity and balance, not a big blockbuster, but a lovely mid-weight Chianti, lingering finish. — 2 days ago
