Maranges, not santenay. Solid. Umami, red fruit, med+ body — 3 months ago
Color of beautiful purple with some ruby color in it, nice legs. Nose is nice with sweet dried strawberry ice cream, ripe berries, aldehyde, some refined spice, some fermented cabbage, strength of alcohol, and Coca-Cola. Taste is smooth and follows the nose, no tannins and a bit zesty, sweet berries with black pepper. Aftertaste shows some more Coca-Cola taste and clean. Light yet refreshing and decent flavors. — 4 years ago

Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Santenay Les Hates shows a Ruby color with aromas of ripe dark fruits and smoky notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with tobacco and spice. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet spice. Drinking well now, will improve. Small case import. — 4 years ago

2021 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes. Most excellent color. A little fat. Some mineral presence. Fairly harmonious now. Wouldn’t let it sit around for more than two years. Drink now. 7.12.26. — 3 days ago
