Corton just takes forever. Didn’t think it warranted grand cru status till I tasted a couple that were 40-50 years old.
I agree- true if much of the Cotes de Beaune for my palate too

Love ‘em young but don’t feel they really improve w age.
I agree. The vivacity of their youth is the main attraction. When that softens they’re a little underwhelming.
