Primarily Zinfandel (88%) with many other Red and White varieties making up the balance. Dark ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of red and black berry/cherry fruit with hints of fresh herbs, red flowers and asphalt. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, black plum, black licorice and roasted herbs. Hint of spice on the long and luxurious finish. Quite elegant and pristine. Rich and pronounced. Well crafted and balanced but extremely harmonious and delicate at the same time. Excellent! We had the 2019 Vintage on 8/4-5/24. A fantastic RRV PN. Black cherry, black raspberry, Cinnamon, baking spice and cola. Medium bodied with a wonderful mouth feel. Smoothed out tannins with a nice finish. Would definitely buy more. I like this more than their single vineyard offerings — 9 months ago

Deep and dark black cherry with some slight green, vegetal notes on the finish. Great structure and strong fruit makes this one for the cellar. Tight now, try again in 5-7 years. Very impressive and interesting…open this one if you’re interested in something different. — 2 years ago

Brief notes. Barb said sour cherry. My initial impressions - dried herbs, dried red cherry and black plum. Quite a big Pinot Noir. One could say a Shiraz drinkers Pinot, but it’s better than that and gives the wrong connotation. Have my next one in late 2025. As I have said in prior notes it lacks nuance. — 3 months ago
