Wow. Amazing as expected. — 11 days ago
This one, on the other hand, did smack me in the face with a surprising streak of lean almost metallic minerals cutting through. — 3 months ago
Muted nose. Honey, apricot, and butter. Buttery, fully coating the palate. Heavy finish. — 3 months ago
So I started my wine collecting thing (obsession) around 8-9 years ago. This was among the first wines I bought and they have been sitting in my cellar since. I opened a bottle of this a couple of years ago and today the second one. The first bottle was obviously good quality then, but the wine was still too young: nervous and steely (chablis!). I find it beautiful to see that the first bottles are now coming around into their drinking window.
So this has fleshed out considerably and just entering it's drinking window. A rich creamy texture surrounded by lime, yellow flowers and oyster shell. Enough acidity to support the whole thing. Balanced. — 20 days ago
Way too young! — 8 days ago
Lots of cherry and current on the nose. Smooth, slightly earthy in the mouth. Very smooth in the finish too. Nice Texas find! — 2 months ago
May have left it a touch too long. Has gotten earthier but still has some smoke and blackberry. — 2 days ago
An enjoyable entry level wine from Fevre! Fresh and bright with good minerality and integrated citrus fruit. I wish this could be a daily drinker for me!!! Available from the Utah State Wine Store! — 12 days ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Very fruity on the nose and full bodied with medium minus acidity.
Dry to off dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black currants, blackberries, cooked plums, oak, vanilla, dried fruits, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light herbs and peppercorn.
Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County is still drinking very nicely, but will not get better from this point.
Complex and easy drinking. Fruit forward with a touch of RS. Rich and extracted with a mouth coating feel.
A nice sipping wine.
14.6% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Conrad Green

Super clean and light with steeliness and light lime color. Much fresher than the 09. Zippy with rock pools, green apple. Almost Riesling like in its precision. Light on its feet despite its depth. — 8 days ago
