This is a delicious red blend from Napa Valley.
Dry on the palate and very fruity with medium acidity.
Showing black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, light cola, coffee, earth, chocolates, mocha, peppercorn, herbs and Mediterranean spices.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 10 year old is drinking so very nicely now. Elegant and delectable. Fruit forward and engaging.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and very complex.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in the bottle. Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
A gorgeous wine at this point. Easy drinking and dangerously good.
Good by itself, and paired deliciously with the leg of lamb.
A blend of 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Petite Sirah, 24% Merlot, 18% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec.
15% alcohol by volume.
95 points.

Drinking very well at 19yrs! — a month ago
Medium straw colour . Fine , constant perlage . Brioche , confit lemon and jasmine, ginger notes . Fills out well on the palate with those candied lemon , brioche notes , lots of backbone and intensity . Mineral fresh acidity . Still quite young , so probably even better in 5 years and will last a further 5-10 years — 2 months ago

This IS Santa Barbara County Pinot! First taste was a big burst of fruit. Not to sweet, not supple and unsophisticated, not a jammy Zin bomb, mind you. Instead, more like a zing of bright, pure, winey fruit. Remarkable and memorable. We had the 2022 vintage in a magnum bottle so perhaps that helped preserve its freshness and purity. We enjoyed this Big Mama at the Palm Restaurant in downtown LA, celebrating my daughter Rachel’s graduation from UCLA Law School. Congratulations, Rachel! — 4 days ago
