Popped and poured; enjoyed after dinner. The 2003 pours a beautiful amber color with and transparent core; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of honey, dried apricots, marmalade, marzipan, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose along with some tropical fruits: passion fruit and pineapple. The finish is long and decadent. Unctuous and a lovely way to capstone a meal. Really appreciating this Rhône white! Complex and tasty, with beautiful aromas of peaches, apricot, and honey. Plus some lime and white pepper. Very ripe pear flavors, with some slate. Great mouthwatering acids. — 2 years ago
