Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Merlot (34%) and Petite Verdot (12%). Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of ripe plums, black olives, dark chocolate and smoky cedar. Black cherry and plum fruit flavors lead the palate with additional hints of cranberry, black pepper, graphite and tobacco. Long, mineral laiden and smoky finish. Mouth coating structure and very firm tannins. Vibrant acidity keeps this wine pretty well balanced here in its youth. Very powerful and concentrated. Tannins not even hanging out on the corner and no visible storefront or corresponding street truck. For our reception, I packed a magnum of this in 2007 into my suitcase.. Same as it was that night, it is tonight. Every 750ml I/we have had since then has better than the magnum I brought. The magnum was good, but a touch broken down. This is in amazing shape. Storage is everything w/ wine of this age.

The nose was straight up brighter, aged fruit profile with mushrooms, sweetened led pencil & barnyard. Beautiful. Classic 80’s seminole Bordeaux. 48 years from inception & 46 years in bottle, amazing.

Blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon & 28% Merlot, aged in new oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruits and floral and earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry, cherry and blackberry with espresso, tobacco and toasty oak notes. Long rich finish on soft juicy tannins, drinking well and still has room to age.
