Palate with fine grained tannins, red and black fruits; some chalky minerals, but a pretty big dose of brett unfortunately. Still, the fruit does come through, with a moderate finish. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Plummy color tinged with tan, nose of woodsy mushroom, brown bread turned earth. Strong entry of cherry bursting through earth and cedar root. Chewy tannins show this very much alive and brimming with secret power! So good, so nice!

Expectedly intense and full throttle Much too young to exhibit any modicum of tea-like or earthy notes.
