A bit pricey, yet what is not in Burgundy. Austere at first, then open to strawberry candy, a hint of farm, elegant, fine acid, wet leaves, young. — a year ago
Nez et bouche épicé, très beau fruit aussi, bel équilibre en bouche, délicieux, des tannins encore bien présents avec une longue finale fort agréable mais ayant une touche asséchante. Très fidèle à l’appellation. 92-93
Blind tasting lunch 2009 theme. Nose and palate with gorgeous spices, nice balance, delicious and pure flavors with grippy tannins in this long but slightly rustic finish, very terroir like. — 4 years ago
Exactly what I want from Sauvignon blanc — 5 years ago
Nice red fruit, spices, open and generous medium bodied and elegant gorgeous Pinot Noir. Drank over two days and 90 pts on day 2 for sure.
Bu sur deux jours, délicieux jour 2. Fruit croquant, épices, avenant, se livre bien, corps moyen, équilibre et élégance.

Really solid offering from Beaune. Still a hint tight but nothing a long decant will not solve. Nice acidity and hint of cherry showing through what I believe to be oak. Hubba! — 6 years ago
2005 vintage on De 20, 2017 at Sun River, OR with skillet roasted lemon chicken (Ina Garten). Tasted alongside a 1999 Raptor Ridge Shea Vineyard to compare and contrast. Elegant and mature C-d-Pape at the peak of its life. Fully developed with a lot of great life left but also no need to wait to drink. This why we love C-d-Pape. Bought at K&L wine auction in 2017. — 8 years ago
Ripe fruit up front then briary earthy middle dusty tannin end delightful complexity — 8 years ago
Fine and attractive, has a lovely approachability in its supple fruit, pliant tannin, and ripe texture. Despite the vintage character, there’s nice balance here with good freshness and aromatics. Black cherry, slightly roasted, plum, spicecake, sweet meat, sous bois, wilted flowers, balsam, rosemary and licorice. Minimal racking, probably a fine call for ‘18 — 2 years ago

This is always a favorite in the sparkling category. Tonight I am getting something more in both taste and smell, though. Along with the usual strawberry, I am getting a fair amount of goat cheese. Sounds unlikely, but it makes me swoon. A tasty appetizer to prime me for a Friday night of actively relaxing. — 8 years ago

Pale lemon in color.
Aromatic nose of pears, apples, citrus, minerals, light honey and herbs.
Medium plus in body and refreshing, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with apples, citrus, light apricots, spices, earth, light vegetables and sea salt.
This is a very tasty Pinot Blanc from Alsace. Nicely balanced and easy drinking right out of the bottle. Elegant and fruit forward.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. I paired it with a grilled red snapper.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Intensely aromatic Alsatian Grwurtz. Medium golden color. Expessive honeysuckle, dried rose petals, dried lavender, sweet spices and tropical fruits on the nose. The complex palate features Asian melon, guava and apricot fruit along with notes of those sweet spices and honey. A bit of mineral on the long and luxurious finish. Slightly oily texture. Medium body and acidity. Quite harmonious. — 9 months ago
