Beautiful cuvée with age. Bottle bought 10 years ago and likely disgorged around 2010 or so.
Black cherries, liqueur tangerines, dried stone fruits, blackberries, mix of black raspberries/raspberries, rainier cherries, delicate but razor sharp chalkiness, limestone, sea spray, sea fossils, bread dough, baguette crust, soft wine spice, rainbow, floral bouquet, shape acidity, good tension, excellent structure & balance. The finish is elegant with power that lasts minutes. Excellent with Duck Confit, goat cheese with herbs.

Definitely an interesting wine, showing a bit of age, touch cloudy, a dollop of bret, the texture was great, silky and supple, the wine was pretty compelling but not quite my style. — 2 years ago
Nice perfect with soft shell crab. #from the wine shop where Jay is. — 4 years ago
This burgundy started off tart and transformed with air. It was darker and fuller bodied than I expected. It almost had some syrah notes — furry purple flavors. $99, 93 pts RP. — 7 months ago
Overly cold unfortunately which mutes much of the flavour you would expect from this 1er Cru from the excellent 2014 vintage for white burgundy made by the baby faced assassin Henri Boillot. I might add to this note once it has warmed up. Very lemony. — 9 months ago
2015. By the time we added this delicious Burgundy to the table while we were still enjoying the Diel Extra Brut Sekt and the R. Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva Rosato it created a perfect spectrum of colors and flavors to match the dishes prepared by the Boiler Room chefs. A great way to usher in the New Year! — 5 months ago
An earthy nose with violet, dark plum, blackberry, hints of sage, Iodene, leather. Hot at first but with air has softened and integrated. Good stuff — 8 months ago
Enjoyed it for Christmas 2022 for the aperitif with blinis caviar and scallops bacon — a year ago
