2012 vintage drunk late 2025. It holds up. Thirteen years old and still fresh and delicious. Sadly my last bottle. It will be missed. — 9 months ago
Enjoyed it for Christmas 2022 for the aperitif with blinis caviar and scallops bacon — 4 years ago
Consistently great value grower pink bubbles. Very crisp and mineral, a bit austere at this point, a lot of the sumptuous fruit has faded to leave chalk, some cranberry, and red grapefruit peel and pith.

I love this wine. So good and so unique. Nose is so mineral. Hint of butter as well. Some smoke and flintiness as well. Palate is racy, rich and so pure. Great focus and length. So clean. This wine could get a stain out of a carpet. Superb freshness, concentration and purity. Long and sapid. — 4 years ago

Unfortunately a faulty bottle showing Premox. Unattractive nose - Oxidative and dirty. A second bottle opened which was brilliant and one of the wines of the bracket. One would be rightly pissed off to part with $1145 AUD for the first bottle. My score here based on 2nd bottle. @Delectable this is the Batard — 8 years ago
Outshined by other fantastic burgundies in a tasting today, but good efforts. A little sulfur and matchstick on the nose, but good stone and chalk backing it up. Slightly more tropical perhaps as well. — 10 years ago

Soft and pretty. Delicate limestone and cool floral notes. A hint of salinity. Poised and balanced. Delicious — 2 years ago

2014 vintage. Surprisingly well balanced for such an inexpensive wine. Fairly tannic with luscious dark berry/cherry notes and quite a bit of spice. Long and lovely finish. Good value red blend. — 9 years ago
Allen Meadows says 94/100. A bit generous me thinks. Weighty. @Stephen Osgood you mad or naw? — 11 years ago

Monkey 47 Dry Distiller Gin. Slightly hazy, water white, colourless. Pronounced intensity of perfume, juniper, lingonberry, violets, lavender, orange and grapefruit zest. With water added, more perfume and citrus notes to the fore. Dry on the palate. Warming alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity. Long finish. Very complex. Outstanding example of a premium gin. — 11 years ago
