Monkey 47 Dry Distiller Gin. Slightly hazy, water white, colourless. Pronounced intensity of perfume, juniper, lingonberry, violets, lavender, orange and grapefruit zest. With water added, more perfume and citrus notes to the fore. Dry on the palate. Warming alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity. Long finish. Very complex. Outstanding example of a premium gin.

All that and then some. I don’t throw out 10’s a lot, but when I do... this gin is wild. The botanicals, the weight, the freshness. This may be the best spirit I have ever tasted.

I am a happy girl! Received my FAVORITE Gin as a (very, very) belated birthday gift. Distilled from 47 unusual botanicals which combines English tradition, Indian exoticness, and the purity of the Black Forest. I am drinking straight up slightly chilled where I sip, savor, smile, and repeat. #monkey47

Usually not a gin drinker, but that one got real tastes: subtle sour, intense nose. Had it in gin tonic with a "can't remember the name" tonic from switzerland in Beaune. Inspiring. Under excellent advices of a bartender.
