Good, would buy again. Not too heavy not too light, good aftertaste. — 4 months ago
Enjoyed with some Tuscan steak and pasta while watching the 2926 masters. Wanted Cameron Young but Rory knows how to keep it interesting. That said. Lovely rather light wine on a sunny afternoon. Sorry - more about the ambience than the tasting notes. Ooos. It was Yummy. — 2 months ago
Still too hot, but manageable. — 3 months ago
Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The 2017 Pipparello pours a garnet color with funky Montmorency cherry, red carnations, and balsamic notes. Wonderful structure and delicious with the quail. Drink now with patience through 2037. Excellent with just a bit of breathing, a good deal at $24 which I do not expect to see any time again soon. A good dinner wine, drunk on January 19, 2026. — 4 months ago

Ruby. Nose of tobacco, smoke, cherry, fresh blackcurrant, violet, earthy. Palate of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, leather, vanilla, clove. Medium + velvet Tannin, medium+ acidity.
Paired with USDA T-bone. It wasn't just a meal; the earthy depth of the wine transformed the mushrooms and steak into a multidimensional experience. It reminded me why I value the art of pairing so much. — 4 months ago
