I'm generally a big fan of the Argyle sparklers, but this one was so much apple for a long time it was almost a cider. Eventually improved and turned good but definitely an unusual profile for an extended period. — a month ago
Darker color then a typical sauternes but quite good.

Delectable, this is the Desire Lines Wine Co. Experimental Series No. 10 Old Durney Massa Vineyard Reisling.
Slate, tropical fruits.

Opened but no decant. After 2 hrs, initially quite reserved and subtle. By 4 hrs, it was vibrant and alive. I'd advise a long decant.

Opened but not decanted. Initially nose was a bit disjointed and flavors were reserved. About two hours in, nose improved and primary Cabernet flavors emerged somewhat. Overall, tannins resolved with more secondary flavor profile. Smooth. No signs of fading but no reason to wait either.

No decant. More of a strawberry profile Pinot. A bit rough around the edges, maybe could use a bit more age.

Decanted and drank over two days with no notable change in profile. Not a particularly fruit forward Pinot, more dusty tannins, with some back acid.
