A very ripe vintage here.
Nose: tropical fruits. Yellow flowers.
Palate: tropical. Mineral of course. Delicious. Not as razor like as other vintages.
Needs 2-3 years or a serious decant now. Day 3 much better. It’s gone from goofily tropical to seriously tropical. Great balance. You get that weltner razor like balance. Bravo. More lemon on the palate with elegant 33% pineapple.

Slightly sweet, prickly, perfect white wine — 2 months ago
What a delightful surprise! Maybe you are deeply expert when it comes to Muller-Thurgau wines, but I was very happy to meet this new friend. A wonderful, fresh pear overtone with that racy Austrian acidity and crisp, dry finish—and it was sparkling! Not just a light frizzante but a full Prosecco-level mousse. This was wonderful with a zuppa toscano and some garlic bread, but I bet it would go with most anything. — 2 months ago

Scintillating aromas of english peas, confectionary grapes, fresh herbs and minerals. True scene in nature stuff here. Crushed rocks and a meadow after a fresh rain. Gorgeous. Palate is so harmonious and pure with awesome freshness and purity. Razor sharp acidity and a palate staining finish. Some wild mint now on the nose. Juicy, incisive, invigorating and so concentrated. So sapid on the finish and really sticks in your gums with razors and opulence. Just a brilliant Sylvaner. Will be back as it evolves. This got so energetic after air and the opulence dialed back. Wonderful. — 4 months ago

Age that Fruh! At 10 this is really coming into its own Gorgeous nose of wet earth, spice and desiccated leaves and tree bark. An interesting citrus note as well. So expressive. Just a stunning nose. The fierce tannins of this have calmed down and it’s an ultra silky and has superb concentration and awesome mid season cherry fruit and some blackberry overtones. Sweet tannins and exceptional length. Air is always this wine’s friend. — 14 days ago
