My lord this is so beautiful. Nose is green grass, sage, minerals, lanolin, green apple skins and that unmistakable Franken stoniness. Just stunning and deep aromas. Wow. Penetrates like nothing else! Acid is so amazing and intense. Don’t forget that this is 21 and my goodness those acids are not shy. Palate is so cleansing and pure. Remarkable. Concentred and a mineral blizzard assaults your palate with such unique flavors. The terroir of Rodelsee just shines here. What a wine. More Rodelsee/Weltner than Chardonnay. So impressive but needs air to get to where it was last August.

After 24 hours of air this is firing on all cylinders. Green gage, sage, thyme, lime zest and superb minerality now. Really piquant nose. Lush and mouthfilling but with awesome acidity and linearity. Terrific!

Lovely Chardonnay from Germany. Mineral and floral on the nose. Apple, pear and lemon on the palate. Juicy acidity. This is a big wine, but fresh and bright, totally unlike a big buttery Chardonnay.

Super mineral nose. Also some green apple and pear. Pungent minerality. Juicy and intense. Spice and complexity and huge acids. Lovely potpourri effect on the backend. Sneaky long and intense focus. Great! Very clear and very focused. Exceptional. Blown away. Insane finish is a blizzard of complexity.

I really enjoy German Chardonnay. Almost as much as German Riesling (but not really 😂)

Lemon. Mineral nose.lemon flower. A hint of elegant smoke.

Palate sweet lemons. Mineral. Wow. Fantastic. Delicious. Integrated lemon minerals. Elegant Lemony richness.

Long delicious finish.

This is quite good. Surprisingly so given the price.

Hard to rate this. Is this a premier cru or the best Chablis village ever? Density is good but not amazing. Ah screw it. It’s premier cru. I’m overthinking this.
