Needed a full hour in the decanter before it really began to show up, but could have used several more for sure. Rich, textured and with with quite racy acidity for 2009, showing squeezed lemons, yellow apple, ripe pear, spices and crushed oyster shells. Silver Oak never disappoints. Classic Napa , 2009 vintage. Happy to be able to drink this here in Shanghai where it’s virtually non existent. Just about at its peak I would say- dark cherries, a hint of eucalyptus, very resolved and smooth, drinking well. — 6 years ago

Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, espresso, tobacco leaf, earth, herbs, eucalyptus, spices, peppercorn and mildew.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Showing great complexity with a soft mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

This 13 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Nicely balanced, rich and extracted. Elegant and fruit forward.

A good quality wine that will pair nicely with BBQ Meats.

A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot and 1% Malbec.
