Le Passe-Temps Santenay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Scale is quite different from Bourgogne I drank yesterday. Aroma with fresh red fruits and fresh herb. Strawberry. 2018 @1350, Kping -, 210818-210819 — 2 months ago

Côte Blonde Côte-Rôtie Syrah 1995

Decanted for a few hours before checking in. Purple reddish color. Earthy nose. Notes of black currants, crushed granite, blueberries, some funk, some menthol and some dark soil. What it has in the nose is missing in the mouth…. Not as good as the last bottle… not very exciting nor impactful. Today it’s all about the nose. — 4 months ago

Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2003

A decent quaff, but not at the level of his higher end cuvees or better vintages. Lots of fruit but lacking weight or meaningful structure. Drink up. — 5 months ago
