Not bad, but I’d take the 17’ Leflaive Bourgogne any day over this. I liked how complex the nose was, and that it was textural and quite mineral, but I just couldn’t stand how sweet-fruited and oily the profile was. Very clearly a warm vintage Burg. Then again, Amiot does make more generous Chardonnay’s. Not for me, but I’d recommend this over any butter ball to lovers of “smash-mouth” wines. — 2 months ago

Exquisite and delicious!!
Beautifully balanced between fresh, vibrant apple, lemon peel notes and brioche, biscuit, toasted almond, and pastry notes, with some delicate bruised pear characteristics revealing a bit of bottle age.
Mousse is fine-grained, persistent, and well-integrated. So good! — 5 months ago
Outstanding Costco purchase. Vegetal notes upfront, green bell pepper, salt, chalk , citrus notes as well, under ripe kiwi, lime. Beautiful amounts of acid, key lime pie , dry wine with great structure. Fantastic buy. 12.5% — a month ago
Thought I’d try their N/V after enjoying their 16 Grand Cru Special Cru so much. It’s nice but not the life changing 2016. 100% Chardonnay.
Seems like there is some wood in this or saw some air during fermentation. Apple, pear, touch of pineapple, nice mousse, white citrus blend, baguette crust, yeasty, bread dough, graham cracker, limestone marl, chalkiness that grips with a sharp press into the palate, white spice, sea fossils, light saline, white flowers, excellent crisp acidity and an excellently balanced, well structured & balanced finish that lasts a full minute. — 3 months ago

April 2024. Full bodied, not heavy. Tastes of oak, like young Bordeaux. Needs a 60 minute decant. After a week with Coravin, more cherry, no oak. — 13 days ago
