Light straw; obvious Savagnin-like and mineral nose; palate is ripe, quite herbal and mineral, tastes almost sweeter than its 5 grams. — 6 months ago
Light straw; mineral nose with citrus and pit fruit: this is light on the palate, even delicate and very mineral. Some might like more intensity? — 5 months ago
Medium gold; spice is predominant on the honeyed nose; just medium-bodied, spice continues on silky palate with peach, honeydew melon and some oak on the finish. (Actually at Restaurant Bro.) — 5 months ago
Medium gold with subtle green hint; lemon, herbs and chalky nose; texture is just oily, palate is more rich than ripe yet still somewhat delicate with a strong mineral component and quite saline at finish. This was a magnificent match with the “White Asparagus, Lovage & Salted Lemon.” — 6 months ago
Ruby red; red berries, mineral, and bit gamy on the open nose; palate a little chewy with bright raspberry and cherry fruit supported with spicy accents. This is much more energetic than rich. — 8 months ago
Light straw; petrol and peach on the compelling nose; palate also already quite open with pit fruit, lemon, herbs and mineral on the strong, just chewy finish. — 5 months ago
Medium gold; ripe nose of almost candied pit fruit, vanilla and flowers; very rich in the mouth with peach, liquid flower, mineral and a pronounced spicy finish. Note this is not an obvious food wine. — 6 months ago
Winton Sweum
Light straw; still primary nose of flowers, pit
fruit and mineral; fresh palate adds grapefruit, lime and more mineral at an elevated intensity. Was the balanced finish mentioned? Good juice. First bottle opened was gone, oxidized. The sommelier claimed Stelvin issues. — 5 months ago
