Fantastic wine here. — 5 days ago
I love this blend. I’m a big fan of J. Lohr and came across this bottle in Costco. It’s soft, fruity, but bold. Smell notes of chocolate, strawberry. Tastes of licorice, plum, cinnamon. I’m sure this would be even more fantastic to cellar. — a month ago
Crafted from up to 100 individual small lots, deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, toasty oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Nice! — 4 days ago
very tasty heavy body. Great pair with sweet desserts — a day ago
Compared to the last Becker dry Spatlese tasted, this was less inviting: a bit more mineral & stony, with none of the fruit flavors associated with Riesling to be found. Very chiseled & imagine needs time in bottle/ long decant. You can still taste the precision though. — a month ago
browner colour, smells of burnt caramel, apricots, amber honey - very syrup-y. not as sweet as the other port. tastes like raisins, maple syrup-esque. tastes similar to the maple syrup taffy/lollipops. not as fruity as the other port. after chocolate the flavours are softened and honestly not as sweet — 8 days ago
This Port is very sweet, with potent notes of maple, chocolate, and maybe raisin. This is a rich dessert red, that is almost rust in color. This pairs really well with dark chocolate. — 8 days ago

Wow what a nose. Huge spice and violets and a feral quality. Glorious and expressive. Stunning. 9.6 nose. Smells ready to go which is in line with 2017 Walter. Also some dead leaves and tree bark. Palate is ripe, supple and juicy with great energy and freshness. Delicate yet intensely flavorful. So succulent. Red cherries galore and some cassis as well. Drink now with aplomb — 19 days ago
