What fun. This wine trounced a much more expensive Bordeaux this evening. Drinking perfectly and fully displayed its boysenberry, chocolate and Asian spice notes. Drink now or whenever it seems well in hand for another decade. — 21 days ago
The V.2022 Esprit de Tablas is the flagship red blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 4% Vaccarèse, 3% Cinsaut and 3% Counoise selected from the top 6-estate-grown varieties propagated from budwood cuttings from the Château de Beaucastel Estate in Rhône, France.
An absolute crowd-pleaser in all aspects; the nose welcomes aromatic dark red fruits, black forrest, earthy and spices. As for the palate, it is rich and bold, yet fruit-forward slightly juicy with a hint of licorice, minty and lushy. Great acidity and structure with progressive tannins towards the back-end. Loved the texture and some sweet spices by the very end. — 16 days ago
Raisin sex.
Very dried and extracted. Lush and hot. -but resolved tannins. Grape raisin sweet. Needs 10-12 yr. Yummy. — 12 days ago

Chez Cybulski 4/19/2024, from Wrightsville Beach. Blissful nose carries one to California perfection. — a month ago
Block 296. Deep purple. Earthy. Dry. Dark fruit. Just opened it. May open up to be lighter. — 2 days ago
2022 vintage. Sampled via Coravin. A bit more fruit than the 2021 vintage sampled just prior. Still...über-pleasant and giving now. Cellar it. PNP it tonight. Somewhere in between...doesn't really matter as you'll be more than satisfied regardless of your decision. 03.19.25. — 2 months ago

Really looked forward to this one, but a little bit too rich to warrant higher score. Missing the acidity/tension a bit.
Edit: and it was served too warm.. — 13 days ago
