Popped and poured; enjoyed after dinner. The 2003 pours a beautiful amber color with and transparent core; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of honey, dried apricots, marmalade, marzipan, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose along with some tropical fruits: passion fruit and pineapple. The finish is long and decadent. Unctuous and a lovely way to capstone a meal. Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 5 years ago

I always forget just how much I enjoy white Bordeaux and this is delicious — 11 years ago
Nose of nectarine, pear. Taste of grapefruit, apple. Medium body and acidity. Leaves a grapefruit dry aftertaste. — 5 months ago
Opening with an interesting and unique orange zest character, then moving to tilled soil. Overall a fresh and mildly spiced nose. On the palate it shows the character but it’s quite harsh to undesired at the moment. — 6 months ago
Minerality, mushrooms, a little fruit. Really dry, almost sherry like. — 10 months ago

Dark ruby, big mocha, chocolate, and raspberry on the nose. Heavy on the pallet with great gripping tannins. I love this wine. — 8 years ago

Great balance and structure. This has aged beautifully, yet there are no signs of decline.
