Quite rich and ripely fruited , cassis , blackberry , sweet cherry . Good freshness and ripe , very fine tannins . Long and detailed , so elegant on the palate . Balanced Red currant , cassis tinged finish , mineral and saline hints . Come back in 5-10 years will show well over the next 10-15 years . Dark cherries and cloves prevail on the nose, then you start to dig in into a very layered nose. Complex and broad spectrum.
On the mouth it is supple and creamy, mid palate is beautiful and rich. The closing is somewhat lifting and refreshing with rose and strawberry flavors overcoming the pleasant bitterness.
An excellent wine for the vintage.
It won’t be immediate. Bit it’ll be a nice surprise in the years to come.

Red and black cherry/raspberry and boysenberry fruit on the palate along with additional notes of chocolate, toffee, savory spices and mint. Well integrated oak on the long and slightly chewy finish.
