Château Cambon La Pelouse
Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Dark ruby with medium viscosity; green vegetal CS-notes come first on the nose followed by black-berries and -currants and finally a hint of mineral and some oak-related "perfume" (not vanilla or coconut but like a teenager's vanillin-scented cheap perfume); sour red cherries and gripping tannins dominate on the palate. Will go fine - but not great - with the boeuf bourguinon thats cooking on the stove.

Oct 22nd, 2015Nice mouthfeel for this Gamay. Had it slightly chilled and loved it. We drank the sediment and want another bottle!
