Medium deep garnet core , medium wide garnet rim . This shows very well still with some sous bois , dried herbal hints and cherry . On the palate this shows good freshness , red cherry again, freshly cut herbs , touch of tobacco and black tea . Balanced acidity and lightly dusty but resolved tannins . Good length and presence on the palate , with enough fruit still , good balance and a black tea stained finish. This is at peak , and will probably stay here for a few more years , so no immediate rush, but is unlikely to improve further . — 22 days ago

Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah.
Dark plum, violets, black cherry, sandalwood, dark chocolate and earthy.
Great acidity and refreshing on the finish.

Early ripening Bordeaux Blend of 35% Merlot, 35% Cab Franc, 25% Cab Sauv & 5% Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby red color with aromas of rich berry fruits with spice, herb and cigar box notes. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and cherry with cinnamon and cedar. Soft fine tannins, rich mouthfeel well balanced with vivid acidity. Long finish ending with fruit, cedar and tobacco. Truncated cookout notes. Very Graves like nose with lots of cigar box notes along with rich gravelly scents, and some nice plummy fruit. Not quite as deep on the palate as the nose would suggest (it’s a ‘14) but nice acidity. Finishing a tad short. — a month ago

Nice value for the easy drinking 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & 70% Sangiovese blend, two-thirds of wine aged 12 months in French oak. Deep Ruby with fresh red berry aromas and some herb spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum, cacao and licorice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, good balance with acidity, ending with tobacco and oak on the finish. — 12 days ago
