Pretty color of ruby with medium intensity and a light brick rim.

Pretty nose of red fruits with wild flowers and light forest floor notes.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with sweet cherries, cooked plums, light oak, mushrooms, spices, chocolates, earth and herbs.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Oregon. Elegant and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.

Burgundy in style, and I really enjoyed smelling it for a long while.

This 19 year old Pinot Noir is still drinking beautifully. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Wine Spectator 92 points. Wine Advocate 91 points. Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime.

Balanced and easy drinking. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.

A blend of Pinot Noir grapes from all of the Single Vineyards of the estate. Aged in 100% New French oak barrels for 16 months. Unfiltered and unfined.

This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Oregon is drinking very nicely now. Complex and interesting. Feels like a lightly aged Burgundy.

Good right out of the bottle, and gets earthier as it opens. Will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

I had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.

Elegant and good by itself or with food.

Nose of blueberries, black plums, black currants, coffee, licorice, spices, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth and herbs.

Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, blood notes, light cedar, earth, herbs, chocolates, barnyard, light vegetables, light tar and black pepper.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Syrah from the Rocks District in Walla Walla Valley. In your face kind of wine. Rich, extracted and complex. Nicely balanced and elegant. Interesting stuff.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after a couple of hours of airtime.

This 6 year old Syrah is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolves.

A great sipping wine that also paired nicely with a big piece of steak.

1 hour decant(decent chunky sediment). A striking dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: mellow nose that hints at what's to come with black fruit liquor, pine needles, black olives, floral, smoke, potting soil. Taste: still big and bold with dark plum, dark currants, graphite, chocolate mocha, black pepper, and an earthy cherry infused medium plus finish. A popular US import here in Zürich, at least with my family. Had it many times, very consistent. Solid Cab, very bold and fruit-forward, a little syrupy, some red licorice. Some haters on Delectable, but it never let me down. Very grill-worthy with plenty of smoked meats. — 4 months ago
