Wow. The nose on this is beautiful. White flowers. Perfume. Intense but elegant. A 9.7 nose. Crushed seashell.
Palate is elegant tropical fruit. A bit hot at first but it blows off. Good deliciousness but not in your face.
Major crush on this producer. Such elegant wines. This vintage reminds me a bit of Rhône legend Marc Sorrel.

Drinking beautifully, 45 min decant. Excellent tart red fruit, excellent balance and tannin integration. Spare stateliness, personified. Drinking this wine is like watching Gene Kelly dance: elegance, mastery, nothing wasted. Paired with London broil and chocolate pasta, cacio e pepe . Ty, Fass Selections. — 7 years ago

Vintage 2009 - #riesling #trocken with incredible good smell: complex with impressions of butter, vanilla, passion fruit and mango. Honey off course. Beautiful #rheinhessen with ocean perch and pasta salad. What a treat if riesling becomes older 😊 — 9 years ago
Very nice rosé — 11 years ago
Nose: lifting cherries. As it opens more deep and velvety.
Palate - elegant cherries. Such gorgeous sweet silky fruit. So fresh. Silky tanins. Savory. A bit meaty. Some plum.
He did a masterful job in a vintage that was critically panned.

Nose is pink grapefruit and minerals. As this opens it is ethereal. Wow. Unique elegant perfume.
Liquid grapefruit soda with rocky minerals
Some Campari on the finish. Powdered Rocks made of petrified grapefruit.
Truly perfect. I need to just buy a case of every muellen wine. I always drink them all down.

Don't often have Riesling dry, but this is quintessential petrol and quince. Stands up well to acidic tomato sauces. — 6 years ago
My favorite white wine! — 7 years ago
I love this wine. Powerful fruit. Just crunchy minerality. Just exultant citrus on the finish. So delicious. Bought from Fass selections. ... as this opens it becomes more geeky. This insane mutherf&$!$& minerality. Just granitic. Wow. I hope I have more of this. Should age well. — 8 years ago

Nydelig hvitvin. Perfekt til salma. — 9 years ago
Essentially orange in color. Great freshness high acidity. Fresh herbs - mostly thyme! Raspberry back palate and a hint of camembert from spontaneous fermentation? A standout Rose as always and one of a kind - can't wait for my case of the 15. Great on its own or with a nice salad perhaps with smoked trout? From Lyle Fass. Also available from some stores in New York. But i think the 14' might be gone. — 10 years ago
Clean, minerals and good balance. Very good spatburgunder! — 10 years ago
Naturvin. B: basilikum. — 12 years ago

Needs 30 minutes to open up even at this stage.
Nose still has a hint of wood. Lime
Palate is lime, mineral and terrific richness. Really citrusy. Great acidity. Upper right on the richness acidity 4 quadrant graph.
Served with shrimp in coconut cream sauce. A great pairing

When the price of this doubles in a few years grown men and women will be weeping that they didn’t buy more. Myself included. Explosive fruit and minerality. More than enough balancing acidity for the 15 acidity alarmists. As this opens it has palate expansiveness. My gut is that this will improve with more age. Wow. Bought from Fass Selections. Ok an hour in this is killing it. Profound wine. — 8 years ago

2012 - HT to @Lyle Fass for bringing these in. So light in color it was almost a rose. Pine needles and resin on the nose. Nice medium plus body. Delicious and unique! — 11 years ago

All I can say is wow! I opened this bottle with zero expectations, took a sip and just started laughing because of how delicious it was. Nose is so quirky and expressive as soon as you pour a glass. Peaches, kiwi, welches white grape juice, golden raisins, butterscotch, pineapple, mango, tropical bubblegum... “confectionary psychedelia” are the words that came to mind. A subtle sweetness teases the mid-palate but then resolves to a tart and mineral finish. Which is awesome and opposite the honeyed, cloying finish I’ve come to fear in some Rhone whites. I’d say with this bottle I’m well on my way to being a convert.
Can’t for the life of me explain the richness and elegance at this price point. Genius stuff @Lyle Fass — 5 years ago
