Ethereal. Color is light ruby red. Amazing nose. Best compliment from my wife, "this isn't like other wines and I REALLY like it."

This wine is an orchestra of flavors and at this price level the best one in Germany. The style of this E & M has been consistent over the years. I had no idea that Pinot can taste like this a wine geeks dream. Hard to find. The 2013 is lighter but just as good and apparently the 2014's which will arrive soon are stunners.

That light E and M color with huge aromas of spice, dill, sweet red fruits and lots of earth. So distinctive. Sick nose. Amazing classic Pinot Noir sex bomb texture. Super elegant and so sleek with fruit that finds its way to every orifice of your palate. Incredible.

Elements of underripe Chambolle with a certain fun German austerity. A little more body would make this perfect, but an elegant wine with tannins to spare for a light and floral wine.

2012 - HT to @Lyle Fass for bringing these in. So light in color it was almost a rose. Pine needles and resin on the nose. Nice medium plus body. Delicious and unique!

Under that is a nice nuttiness and some good spice and cherry fruit, but the green vegetal quality is overwhelming. Palate is great though. Light and ephemeral, sappy and delicate. Very mouthwatering.
