Oct 27th, 2023Such a killer Mölsheim. Apricot, mango, herbs, citrus, very aromatic. All that on a bed of minerals. Just gorgeous. Palate is energy for days and days. Grip, unreal fruit that is tangy and ripe but backed up by incredible acidity. It’s so staggeringly pure. Just delicious and an amazing hot day wine. Unreal texture, volume and amplitude and then gets mineral and nimble on the finish. Terrific.

The aromas of the fruit are so clean and so precise. Just amazing. Peach skin, peach flesh, apricot, nougat, caramel aromas show this is baby Hergott. It’s so precise and so clean but also nuanced and deep. Just a stunning nose. Glorious spice and deep deep minerals. Airy. So so killer. Blind I’d say GG. Wow. I love this wine. So so salty in 2019! U la la! Juicy and so concentrated but elegant and energetic. Sappy peach and apricot fruits on the finish. But also laser like, rapier like minerality. Amazingly pure and deep. So balanced and serene. A zen like experience. Long finish that alternates between fruit, saline and gorgeous mineral. Amazing mouthfeel and purity. Just a stunning Molsheim. Clean finish that just echoes and slowly dissipates. So beautiful.

Lovely dry Riesling. Faint petrol on the nose, honeydew and mineral/limestone on the palate. Excellent mouthfeel.

Wawaweewah this is a great wine. Huge aromatics, creamy palate, great texture, all buttressed with massive zinging acidity. Apricots, melon, peach, minerals, massive finish. Decanted in the AM on the sage advice of @Severn Goodwin, what a pleasure tasting this come alive in the glass. Fabulous.
