This is drinking well right now. Tannic but lush and quite open. Long finish and love the acidity here — 10 months ago

Medium deep garnet, ruby core with medium light garnet rim . This is quite meaty and deep on the nose , with earthy dark cherry , porcini , sweet blackberry and spiced sous bois . On the palate this is quite severe and serious , darker fruits , ripe blackberry , cherry and hint of blackcurrant, herbal hints. Quite gritty , slightly drying tannins , fresh acidity . Earthy , dusty dark cherry edged finish , ok medium length. Quite ambitious for a village and arguably not ready yet , tannins need a little more time to integrate. From now and over the next 5 years, if not longer . — a year ago

Top terroir vineyard estate. Very interesting. 25 Oaked. New and 2 year. 26.99 ws glazer. — 11 years ago
Bright ruby color. Aromas of red berry fruit, violets, wood smoke and wet soil. Flavors of red cherries and currants with additional notes of cooked mushrooms, baking spices and coffee. Medium bodied but a bit short on the mid-palate. Silky tannins and light acidity. Part of Kevin Zraly’s 2025 Red Burgundy Master Class. — 8 months ago
Lychees and red berries, bright, fresh, some acid with a delicious brininess. A beautiful natural cloudy orange/ rosé vin. — 8 months ago
Textbook Cabernet Frank drinking well eight years after harvest. 2017 vintage purchased in January 2024 $24. — 9 months ago
From one of the absolute best sites in Chassagne, the ‘22 vintage and third vintage from Theo Dancer is expectedly superb, and the sunny and impeccably located La Romanée vineyard is profoundly textural, satiny and incisive with a particularly citrusy profile with freshly baked bread and chalky minerality. This is of course, still very young and is without a doubt built to age. — a year ago

Green apple, lemon zest and lime. Zippy and concentrated with some viscosity in the mouth. Very enjoyable — 11 years ago
The palate is full of lively verve. Lemon lime high acidity. What seemed at first to be notes of hazelnut actually blew off. In fact I mistook these notes. The wine seems to be rather reduced. Color is light gold/dark lemon. Went well with roast pork. — 11 years ago
