Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir 2012
Light garnet with pink edges. Smoky strawberry, resin, and that famous "Santa Maria Spice". Sweet spice, mixed with savory spice, mushroom, loam...touch of rose and orange rind. Completely consistent in palate...just SO clean throughout palate. A fresh, but even acid streak that finishes with that haunting orange rind. Maybe some clove as well. — 12 years ago
