Deeper ruby , slightly narrower garnet , ruby rim . Quite richly fruited with a meaty , smoky character also , red plum , dark cherry , blackberry , touch of spice . On the palate this has quite good density and grippy tannin , balanced acidity , darker ripe fruits. Reasonable length . Quite polished and modern in style . Classic Spanish flag color of yellow with red writing. Good brick red color. Just a hint of a purple core. Aroma is stones and red/black cherry cobblers-pies. Slightest of linseed oils. Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Very dry on the palate with nice complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Showing black fruits, cedar, licorice, chocolates, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth and peppercorn.

This is a delicious Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and nicely balanced.

Starting to drink beautifully now, and needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

This 5 year old Tempranillo is already complex, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
