Very good Bordeaux blend from Becker winery of Texas Hill Country. This vintage had 39% Cabernet Franc, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Lovely taste that paired well with food. Drank in December 2023 — 3 months ago
Although very young, this wine handled itself very well with a heavier concentration of Grenache grapes to pint noir grapes. Would like to try it again with several years of aging — 4 months ago

Surprisingly good Cabernet Sauvignon from the Texas Hill Country Becker winery.. The grapes are actually grown in the Texas High Plains. I had drank another Becker Iconoclast years ago and it was very good. The wine was smooth with strong hints of chocolate. Paired well with red meat. Drank in December 2023. — 3 months ago
Lucious, inky red wine from Sardinia. The grape is the Sardinian Grenache grape known as Cannonau. Unique grape with a very rich berry flavor, pleasant nose and a lingering taste of spice such as cinnamon. Paired wonderfully with lasagna. Did not pair as well with poultry. Should do well with red meat. Drank in November 2023 — 5 months ago
