Dec 9th, 2019Enjoying a very nice Rioja tonight. Deep ruby color. Medium intensity nose with notes of red plums, coffee and a little bit of road tar. Great flavors of dark fruit, chocolate covered cherries, cola, and a hint of licorice. Medium acidity and medium tannins. Very nicely integrated and a very nice finish with a very slight hint of mint.
