First bottle of a half case we bought at the domaine in 2021. Definitely will be better in a few years but nice to try one on the earlier side. What they say is true - this is really easily Brunello level. At this point the nose isn’t giving a ton, but there is great depth of fruit and earth on the palate. This hits in several more parts of the mouth than most wines and the finish goes on for quite a while. Medium plus tannins and acid which should balance out a bit with some more age.
Opened the bottle 5 hours prior to service and then decanted for 2. Real candidate to be 9.5+ in a few years. — 4 months ago
Very nice as noted previously, it’s got that Nebbiolo weight that floats. — 5 months ago
2022 Etna Rosso santo spirito: light dark soil, very loose and sandy. lighter cherry and fruitier nose, on the palate, cherry, heavy minerals. Strong tannins. Very popular wine. Very deep vines. — 6 months ago
Great nose. Smooth throughout — 9 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and herb notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, melon and lemon citrus zest, with notes of honey and herbs. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, balanced acidity and floral mineral character. — 4 months ago
Acidic. Long finish. — 4 months ago
Nice way going. But good and clear — 5 months ago
Popped in poured; no formal notes. The 2020 Pithos Rosso is, to my palate, a lovely Sicilian alternative to Beaujolais. Delicious, refreshingly fruity and just a touch wild. Sufficient structure to provide enjoyment for the near term, but I would just as well drink now. I really enjoy these wines. — 6 months ago

Perfect. It’s perfect. — 3 months ago
This is a very punchy, rich wine, likely a blend of Sangiovese with some bordeaux cépages like Cabernet. Actually works very well with rich food and has enough acidity and balance. Not our prime stuff in style but honestly was really good. — 4 months ago
Very light gold color. Peaches, pineapple, flint, and lemongrass on the nose. This is more Sauv Blanc and Riesling than previous vintages, Less acidity too. Still good, just different from previous vintages I’ve had. Great depth and long finish. Love the complexity and uniqueness! — 5 months ago
Good! Hefty! Some cinnamon/nutmeg up front upon opening, mellows a bit later. Tasty! — 7 months ago

Wow! I need to find more of this at 22 years old was still drinking fresh and sharp. Acid and tannins still solid but a lovely berry pop on the finish. Still probably has another 4-6 years of life — a month ago
