The savory and youthful 2013 Argiano BDM displays an attractive ruby/garnet, Bing cherry appearance, as the color is backed up by perfumed aromatics and flavors of all types of red berries and cherries.

It is nicely balanced and well structured with juicy acidity, and supporting, light dusty tannins at the long, lip smacking finish. Overall, very Pinot Noir-ish. The combination of aging in barrique and large oak barrels creates an interesting complexity and texture not typically found in other BDMs. Great stuff!! — a month ago

Dark and murky ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of leather, ripe black cherry and a good deal of barnyard funk. Flavors of earth, coffee, mushrooms with a very slight amount of dried black cherry fruit. Finish is a bit bitter but the wine is still well balanced. Exceptionally tertiary with well softened tannins. Frankly, this wine was fine (if you can accept the lower fruit levels) but I was (it was not flawed) honestly expecting more from this highly regarded producer. — 2 months ago

From the makers of Sassicaia, Deep Ruby color with aromas of fresh red & black fruits and earthy floral notes, 60% Cab Sauv 40% Merlot blend. On the palate flavors of currants and blackberry with mint, licorice, cacao and earthy notes, well integrated. Fine tannins, approachable, a wine with a solid structure, elegant and smooth, long finish, great mouth feel ending with fruit and grntle oak. Will age well over next 5+ years. Nice! — 2 months ago
