Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Consistent throughout though, I think I slightly preferred it after some air on Day 1. The 2024 pours a pale ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of bruised strawberry, watermelon Bubblicious, cranberry, pink flowers, and wet cement. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Tegan has become a master of Trousseau as this is about as good as any you will have, including the Jura. Drink now through 2034. — 2 months ago

Aromas of strawberry, pomelo, watermelon, rose petal, sea breeze, and hint of thyme. The palate adds additional red berries, citrus, and faint earthy notes. Medium body that is nicely textured. Fresh yet round acidity. There is off-dry sensation on the otherwise slightly savory medium finish.

Very light pink-orange in color with a very light floral nose. Very smooth but also very light in body with a very slight small bubble fizz. Slightly sweet with flavor of primarily strawberry and maybe some peach and a slight edge of citrus too. Nice and very good for an aperitif drink. — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2018 “S” pours a slightly hazy garnet/purple color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry, licorice, purple flowers, green herbs and crushed rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. I love me some Lapierre. Drink now through 2038. — a month ago

From 109% Alsatian Pinot Noir. Light pink/salmon color. Nose features strawberry, raspberry and orange zest. Bright red berry and red apple flavors. Glorious salmon-pink color and fresh, juicy flavors of strawberry and watermelon. This is the Ode to Lulu Mourvèdre Rose (back label says that it’s “ancient vines” grown on sand, so maybe mostly CCC fruit?). The color so pale as to almost resemble a skin contact “orange” white wine. Nose is all fruit. Nectarine, strawberry, an orange-zest thing too. Dry and so gulpable.
