On the nose, this is blackberry, red cherries, red currant... Cocoa powder? On the palate, the blackberry and current is still there, but certainly some herbal notes as well... Green pepper... Dried sage... Medium body and tannins are quite pronounced at this stage... Another couple of years may have been preferred to soften a bit though this may be at the expense of the great currant up front... I feel there's some smokiness in the texture that I like here... The finish is long and makes me think of tree bark... A nice pairing for us tonight with flank steak. — a month ago

Showing dark ruby. Ton of structure. Overpowered by tannin on first open. Will revisit rating in a few hours. — 2 months ago

Delicious blueberry pie, savory, leather, olive, black fruits, plenty dry. Could’ve popped the cork 5 years ago but 10 years has done this very well. Perfect wine with a steak and great representation of an American Cab not from Napa. — 13 days ago
Very raisiny on the nose, deep red plum and a little leathery upon tasting. Simply delicious. — 14 days ago
A great wine. $69 served at Karl's Cabin — a month ago
This is one of my go to wines because it’s classic and goes well with many things. More in the oakier side and slightly heavy but I love the buttery flavor. — a month ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and cinnamon spice. Aged in French oak (about 50% new). Full-bodied, fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and an earthy character. Nice! — 2 months ago

Lovely. Definitely aged enough. Tastes almost like an aged Bordeaux. Tumeric, dark fruit, boysenberries, ….Needs lots of air. — 18 days ago
