Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir

Pretty extracted, lots of dried fruit. Just ok, just not my style. Lots of alcohol on the finish.

Textbook Sonoma fruit with a big frame and bigger body. Smooth but rich red berry, touch of light strawberry jam. Beautiful.

Delicious. Dense. Rich berry. Strawberry and raspberry peeking through.

Relatively restrained--some blue fruit, tannin and acid in a pretty good balance. Pretty dense and compact now and still obviously young. My guess is it will improve over the next few years.

Want some honesty? I love Kosta Browne. And I love Gap's Crown vineyard. But the '13 KB Gap's Crown may be the worst KB Pinot ever. Ever! My 3rd time having this wine and they are all immensely disappointing.

Can never go wrong with Kosta Browne Pinot 👌🏼

Let me start off by saying that I love Kosta Browne Pinots. World class producer. But the '13 Gap's Crown is not their best effort. It's a fine Pinot, but not up to the single vineyard KB standard. Blueberry and cherry finish. Almost like a blueberry muffin. The finish does linger, but not a ton of depth, substance.
