Popped and poured and started drinking about 30 minutes later. Amazing! Nose to die for! — 4 months ago
Very cherry driven almost over the top. Raspberry and a touch of crushed marble. Definitely a wine which will please. But it lacks the earthiness of the 2016. Super juicy. Low %. Overall this is a nice example of a CA Pinot - which just wants to please unfortunately to much ….and perhaps trying to be a burgh in the process - but this vintage ain’t it. — 5 months ago

What not to like about a W&S Pinot? Paired well with fresh Dungeness crab cakes and a salad. — 4 months ago
Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Medium Ruby color, with aromas of berries, tea and spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and tart black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, good structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. — 5 months ago
Interesting vintage bubbly. 50/50 Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Dark golden color. Yeasty aromas of mushroom, burnt caramel and orchard fruit. Flavors of bruised apples and pears, mushrooms, caramel sauce, hazelnut, quince and brioche. Hint of salty lemon zest on the long and drawn out finish. Quite fresh tasting despite its age. Lively bubbles and creamy mousse. Quite complex and well developed. Might be a bit past its prime but still delicious. Thanks for bringing this New Year’s Day bubbly, Ron B! — 5 months ago

Reddish in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity. Pretty color.
Strong nose of red fruits with earth, light wood, light Mediterranean spices, mushrooms, earth and herbs.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light green tea and earth.
Nice finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a delicious 15 year old Pinot Noir from Oregon. Nicely balanced and elegant.
Feels like a red Burgundy, which I loved. Complex and interesting. Tangy and spicy.
I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent. Drinking beautifully now, and will continue to do so in the next 10 years.
Wine Enthusiasts 91 points.
Easy drinking, and good by itself or with food.
Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (55% new) French oak barrels for 15 months.
13.1% alcohol by volume.

It’s not about QPR when you have a chance to drink history. I had other plans for this bottle but I thought about the bottles I’ve sold over the years and never tasted which now I regret.
You can’t take them with you so you might as well enjoy while you can. Very good, bigger than I expected from a Burgundy but its another bucket list bottle — 5 months ago
