Excellent. I always find myself liking what Talenti does. This was in a perfect place. Bit of decaying leaf on the nose but the palate was fresh and vibrant with deep fruit and excellent acid. Mouth filling and delicious. — 6 years ago

This new red wine (only the second vintage made) is my new obsession. Once Dionysi poured this for us, I suspected I'd fall for it hard, but I guess I didn't imagine just how hard. Such a light-bodied, fresh character and it really reminds me of Nebbiolo growing in Valtellina, or perhaps young Pian del Ciampolo as it gets more savory with air. Such a marvelous bright, light bodied jewel; this is a gargantuan wine. 12% abv...lifted red fruit...more serious earthy aromatic allusions to graphite and leather, which help ground what would otherwise be irrationally exuberant somewhat tart fruit...yes! 2015 vintage. Drank in July 2017. $14.55 CAD. Pale to medium yellow with presence of very tiny bubbles. On the nose; fruits and yellow Lifesavers (lemon candy). On the palate: fresh and crisp, pineapple. Very much enjoyed and would buy it again.

Was a little reticent aromatically, then it opened up and what was there was amazing and elegant and complex. Like spiced plums and lavender, with some red cherry too. A huge step up from the pian Del campolo, but a price fraction of la pergola. Definitely want to try again! Great bottle, @Max Kogod — 8 years ago
French oak. Smells like my grandma's toaster and she stuck a mixed berry Jane in and it was burnt. High acid, medium heavy body, bold oak that still gives you that kinda low sugar berry pie that's been in the oven for a bit longer than needed with muted fruit and a meatier kinda body. Fun wine. 1.5L bottle served side-by-side to the Pian Del Ciampolo. Splash decanted and returned to the bottle prior to serving. This was obviously the more modern of the two with darker fruit and pronounced baking spices. More round and full than the PdC. Yet, this was divine and a fantastic comparison...so much fun actually. Anyone that might balk at the modernity would be making a serious error. This is an honest wine that is beautifully made. Drink now or over the next ten years. — 5 years ago

AJ 89/100 - un po di delusione per una grande bottiglia che aspettavo da tempo. Annata 2002, sboccatura 2014, bel colore giallo paglierino chiaro, naso in forte evoluzione, all'inizio chiuso con note citrine e di lievito, pian piano si apre con pasticceria, burro, frutta secca perlage finissimo e persistente, in bocca grandissima acidità, con ottima persistenza.
