Nectarine, white peach, rhubarb, herbal. Local summer. IYKYK. — 8 months ago
This wine has a pale peach hue with pristine notes of white peach, grapefruit, lemon, Rainier cherry, white blossom, wet slate, seashell and petrichor. On the palate it’s dry, precise, with racy acidity, and medium alcohol (11.5% ABV). It’s positively delicious. — 9 months ago
Paired nicely with tuna steak. Nice and refreshing to drink in Florida while the sun is still out. Bottle description: white blend marries the crisp, honeyed citrus fruit of chenin blanc(80%) with the soft floral and juicy peach notes of viogner (20%). Interesting white. — 2 years ago
As much as I try to pair reds w the Thanksgiving meal #Riesling always seems to work best…and helps w keeping the turkey moist and adding an extra element to the gravy base 😉
On its own appreciate it for its balance of sweetness w just enough acidity and salinity ~ minerality w a nod to slate and gunflint smoke ~ and an array of fruit ranging from quince and peach to lime and pineapple — 3 years ago
We had the 2009 Vintage on 2/16-18/20. Amazing wine with apricot, peach, apple and honey. Full bodied sweet wine. fabulous — 5 years ago
Pale lemon. One the nose- apple, pear, peach, citrus, and a grassy/herbaceous note that I can’t put my finger on. Burst of grapefruit and pineapple with some minerality on the palate. Medium body. Nice, zesty acidity. Was a bit tight at first out of the bottle. Best to let it breathe a bit and losen up some. Fun and cheeky wine! — a year ago
9/15/2024: Not as sweet as the Moscato but still pretty good — 7 months ago
Medium caramel color. Enchanting aromas and flavors of dried and jellied peach, dried and jellied bitter orange and dried and jellied apricot. Additional hints of banana, chocolate, nuts and burnt caramel, which leads to a slightly smoky finish. Bright and vibrant (but beautifully balanced) acidity. Beautifully rich texture and mouthfeel. Luscious. Just outstanding! Really appreciate you sharing this one, Ron B! — 2 years ago
Crisp and fruity Sauvignon Blanc. Has a lot more power than most SV’s from NZ. Decadent notes of lime, grapefruit and white peach balanced with sharp acidity and saline notes. Delicious. Pair with food for sure. — 3 years ago
Medium straw colour with a beautiful mousse. On the nose, lemon, pear, yeast and toast. Nice light body with perfect tiny bubbles that made the perlage super velvety in the mouth, a nice contrast to the crisp acidity. Notes of asian pear, white peach and apple, lemon and at times almost like ethanol and some toast with lingering hazelnut and ginger on the long finish. Not sure if our bottle was slightly off with the ethanol taste that came up once in a while. Will have to try another bottle. For science. — 3 years ago
The 2019 FMC, which comes from pure Chenin Blanc bush vines planted in 1974, has a subtle, precise bouquet of white flowers, peach skin, kumquat and light apricot scents, very pretty and charming. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. This builds in the mouth, fanning out wonderfully on the finish without losing an ounce of precision. Superb. Typical nose of an Art Series Chardonnay with that dried pear character. On the medium weight palate a nice combination of ripe grapefruit and under ripe yellow peach. Medium minus acid. One can’t help but love this Chardonnay. A wonderful terroir, the Gin Gin clone, great winemaking, and an excellent vintage - ticks all the boxes. At its peak but enough acid for a few more years if you wish. That was my last bottle of the 2011. — 7 months ago
Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy mineral texture. Very Nice! — 8 months ago
Pale straw with green edges and aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with floral herb notes. On the palate juicy apricot, peach and grapefruit with lemon zest, classic New Zealand SB. Vivid acidity and spice complement this well balanced wine to a medium finish. — 3 years ago
Pale lemon with aromas of pronounced ripe stone and tropical fruits and floral notes wrapped in a frizzante. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and mango with notes of white floral. Good balance with lively acidity, medium finish ending with ripe fruit character. Nice! — 3 years ago

Our first German Riesling, from Mosel. W’s favorite! Recommended from Total Wine. Acidity to us is perfectly balanced by mild to moderate sweetness. Label says mineral notes (slate in the soil here), peach and slight lime. W found is from the Moselland cooperative with winemaker Dominic Meyer. Imported by Winebow in NY, corporate in Va. — 6 months ago
