This was opened and we enjoyed a few glasses before recorking and reapproaching 24 hours later, at which point it was really singing. Yellow peach, pear and medley of orchard fruit, layered with pressed yellow flowers, dried persimmon, and notes of vanilla and bourbon. So delicate. Such fine bubbles. Saltwater taffy and some caramel and rock salt on the palate. Subtle tannic echo. Mesmerizing. — 6 months ago
Jorge Ordonez is consistent and fairly priced always. Ripe pear, peach, citrus, acid. Food friendly but fine on its own. — 8 months ago
Very nice citrus, peach, washed over stone. Delicious. — 9 months ago
Pale lemon with aromas of pronounced ripe stone and tropical fruits and floral notes wrapped in a frizzante. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and mango with notes of white floral. Good balance with lively acidity, medium finish ending with ripe fruit character. Nice! — 2 years ago
As goth in residence I should alert you that aside from inevitable pheromones it is intellectual wine acumen that revs my motor. Ipso facto if brains turn you on, this Bandol will seduce you with its thoughtful rigor—it has its balance and complexity fine-tuned. Then pure sensual attributes (silky rhubarb/peach Melba joy/is that a bay leaf? And omg perhaps even a hint of allspice) are all guest speakers at the symposium. This wine has deep thoughts but is perky-goth enough to dance til at least 3am. Daylight may be too much though. — 3 years ago
Medium caramel color. Enchanting aromas and flavors of dried and jellied peach, dried and jellied bitter orange and dried and jellied apricot. Additional hints of banana, chocolate, nuts and burnt caramel, which leads to a slightly smoky finish. Bright and vibrant (but beautifully balanced) acidity. Beautifully rich texture and mouthfeel. Luscious. Just outstanding! Really appreciate you sharing this one, Ron B! — 7 months ago
Juicy green apple and crisp slate over a hint of white peach. Light and refreshing. — 9 months ago

Blend of 83% Semillon, 12% Sauv Blanc & 5% Muscadelle, golden medium lemon color with a complex botrytis bouquet of ripe sweet stone fruits, lemongrass and sweet floral perfume spice. On the palate peach, apricot and honey flavors adding in some nutty sweet oak encompassed by complex botrytis, "noble rot" fruit. Long finish ending with sweet creamy character. Very Nice! — 3 years ago
Smells and tastes like salty peach. Becomes more of a salted lemon in a few hours — 5 months ago
Great balance of sweetness with apricot honey and peach flavors. Nice way to finish off Thanksgiving — 6 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and spice scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. Pair this with a Swordfish steak topped with balsamic roasted tomatoes. — 7 months ago
Crisp and fruity Sauvignon Blanc. Has a lot more power than most SV’s from NZ. Decadent notes of lime, grapefruit and white peach balanced with sharp acidity and saline notes. Delicious. Pair with food for sure. — 2 years ago
So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back, due to scheduling my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.
Notes possibly tomorrow, scores honestly tonight.
Decanted 8H.
24-Hour Update:
Nose has moist chalk, dry limestone-based soil, yellow peach, ripe pineapple, crushed flint, struck match, orange zest, warm Anjou pear, crushed oyster shell, cold butter and honeysuckle.
Palate has warmed (ripe) pineapple, under-ripe yellow peach, hazelnut butter, vanilla, orange zest and white peach.
A great bottle, which is quite youthful and should be revisited around 2025-30. — 3 years ago
Golden color. Beautiful. Nose is elegant with anise/apple skin stuff. Flavor is excellent for an 11 year old white. Lemon bars and fancy mineral water. It’s dry, but it has a melon and peach streak. Like citrus peels and peaches. — 5 years ago

This Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand has strong peach aromas, a melon bouquet, and a finish with floral and grapefruit flavours. — 4 months ago
